Meet Alice Srugies, the founder of Pedagogisk Peppare. Lecturer
, researcher, journalist, group training instructor - with a curious mind and a desire to learn a little more every day.
What links all of these fields of expertise and practice? Communication. I am drawing on my background as a communication researcher and practitioner as well as a journalist to encourage and facilitate learning, motivate as well as communicate research insights to broad stakeholders within and outside of academia.
As a lecturer with more than ten years of experience in German and Swedish higher education, I love facilitating individual learning journeys and supporting personal as well as professional growth. I enjoy working with questions of educational development and quality assurance, for example as director of the international program Master in Communication at the University of Gothenburg (2018-2020).
I have conducted comprehensive studies in several domains of strategic communication, from European public diplomacy to crisis communication and crisis management of German public authorities. As a group training instructor, I contribute to creating a positive, inclusive training environment in which people of all ages and fitness levels can come together to exercise and boost their mental health.
