Vision and goals

Pedagogisk Peppare is committed to making Swedish higher education easily accessible for everyone. We provide students and staff alike with information, strategies and tools to navigate (unwritten) rules, guidelines as well as peculiarities of Swedish higher education.

We offer guest lectures and workshops for students and staff audiences as well as workshops and consultation services for leaders in Swedish higher education at programme, department, faculty or university level.

Our goals:

• Support Swedish higher education institutions to move from internationalization as a buzzword to developing a sustainable, holistic approach to internationalization that includes and engages all students and staff members.

• Provide (international) students with knowledge and tools on academic and practical aspects of their studies to help them complete their courses and thrive in Sweden. By that, Pedagogisk Peppare also contributes to improving student satisfaction as well as lowering dropout rates.

• Equip (international) academic staff with knowledge and tools to easily find their way around Swedish higher education in order for them to be able to 1) focus on teaching and research, 2) communicate fundamentals of the Swedish academic system to their students, and 3) connect with students in diverse classrooms.

• Provide administrative staff with tools and resources to facilitate their work with international students and staff.
