What’s in a name?
The name Pedagogisk Peppare is inspired by the non-profit organization Generation Pep as well as the award Årets Peppare that Generation Pep assigns. The award honours individuals, organizations and associations that encourage and create opportunities for children and young people to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle in an inclusive, accessible way. In a similar way, Pedagogisk Peppare seeks to support all students as well as academic and administrative staff members to thrive, participate and engage at Swedish higher education institutions – with inclusiveness, accessibility and mutual understanding as key principles.
